Yes, I thought this was super-interesting too. Speaks to something deeper I think about the role he's playing in the psyche right now.

Hasan Piker: The Left's Biggest Problem—or Its Best Shot? YouTube video by Mother Jones

This is a fantastic interview of the guy roiling the left rn, Hasan Piker, by @garrisonhayes.bsky.social. One of my favorite parts is Garrison challenging Hasan on race. It's a frank, wide-ranging interview. I hope you can watch: www.youtube.com/watch?v=VoCq...

I analyzed 1,500 "pizza" mentions in the Epstein files. Here's what I found. Forget the Pizzagate codes. The real, dark story is hiding in plain sight.

Do the Epstein files prove that "pizza" is a code word for pedophilia or is it just pizza? @jamespwest.bsky.social took a very very deep dive www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

Here's how it worked, like a normal web-scraper: the tool queried the DOJ's search API for a keyword, collected matching PDF URLs, downloaded them while checking file sizes, auto-refreshed the site's expiring cookie, deduplicated filenames, then merged everything into one PDF with Python.

Incredible piece that will surely put an end to the conspiracy theories once and for all

That's right--the story gets into all the ways Pizzagate is a distraction, people hunting for clues in files that are already *literally* about sex trafficking and abuse. As the sub-heading says: the real, dark truth is hiding in plain sight.

In another, his conversation with Steve Bannon turns inexplicably to the political leanings of a mass killer—and lands on a Holocaust joke. You'll have to click to read that one: www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

The mentions span Manhattan, Palm Beach, and Epstein Island: federal agents canvassing a pizzeria, million-dollar Domino's stock trades, dinner parties where Epstein dished out slices just as he did favors and money.

In one email, he berates Leon Black:

The basic gist: people are looking for pizza as code in files that are already literally about sex trafficking. No codes needed.

But the mundane details—grocery runs, deliveries, Lean Cuisine receipts—still offer a lens into the conspiracy of silence that enabled his abuse.

Tucker, Rogan, Boebert—they're all talking about how the Epstein files are the new Pizzagate.

So I pulled every one of the 1,500 "pizza" mentions and reviewed them all.

Here's what Pizzagate gets wrong—and what it's making you miss.

Jesse Jackson told me why he really ran for president He insisted it wasn’t a vanity project. History proved him right.

A real joy to work with former Mother Jones editor Douglas Foster on this remembrance—and corrective—in which he revisits his own 1987 MJ cover story, peels back the curtain, and reveals Jackson as the far-sighted visionary he truly was. A lovely read: www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

Inside Epstein's very own "Oval Office": Power, peacocking, and printer toner. Epstein and his coterie had a self-aggrandizing nickname for a private office inside his Manhattan lair.

The "Oval Office."

That's the nickname Jeffrey Epstein had for the most functionally critical room in his Manhattan townhouse. It's where Epstein's "girls" kept their purses and prepped for Little St. James; packages for Woody Allen's wife were assembled.

Much is already known about Epstein's own opulent quarters, stuffed with rococo collectibles. But this Oval (literally ovoid in shape) was where "girls" slung purses and prepped trips the island. It was also the center of the favor-giving operation.

I kept seeing “Oval Office” mentioned in the Epstein Files and wondered he it was literally talking about a new lamp for the real Oval Office. Turns out Epstein had his own ops hub he dubbed “the Oval Office”. I went down the rabbit hole. www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

Over the past few months, I have spoken to over a dozen people who know Rep. Cory Mills. Nearly everyone, I found, dislikes him. Some outright despise him: “repulsive and vile,” “schmuck,” “little bitch.” Others were more formal. “I have no use for people with no honor,” an Idaho firearms instructor who worked with Mills in the Middle East told me. The most blunt was a veteran who once reported to Mills in the Army. He told me of the congressman from Florida: “I wouldn’t piss on him if he was on fire.”

The Melania movie is an American obscenity The vapid, corruption-soaked film, which celebrates the myth of the "good immigrant," is more revelatory than it seems.

This by @inaeoh.bsky.social is the best thing I’ve read about the “Melania” monstrosity.

“… a ghastly parade of fun-house mirror herstory, will certainly be relegated to the footnotes of her family’s deeper atrocities.”

“Good immigrant” propaganda:
