I’m still here. Lots of health issues making life difficult, but I’m still writing. I have a book launch at The Twig Bookshop in May, and I’m trying to get the book completed before then. This will be the sequel to The City That Disappeared called In the Cavern of Ancient Malice. 😊

Hope everyone is doing well. I took a sort of break from SM. Scaled back to mostly 2 sites due to family and health issues. I’m not gone, just dealing with stuff.
I’m so sleepy. I can hardly stay awake. I haven’t been on SM in a while (or not much anyway) but that’s why. I’m just sleeping constantly.
I am in so much pain. How dare I think I could do 2 loads of laundry in one day! Thank goodness for grocery delivery or I would starve. Chronic pain sucks!!
Dad never allowed it. Went for the first time when I was 15 to take my little sis. Dressed as a Greek goddess. Another year (next year?) I was a cat.

Took a social media break for health reasons. I’m better today. Didn’t take the medication from hell my neurologist prescribed, and I finally got some sleep. Won’t take it again. Hope everyone is well.
Ugh. Cannot write during the day unless it’s early morning. I have all day to do this, but my brain just won’t cooperate. 🙄

Sometimes I look up, and I expect my dog to be there, and my heart just breaks all over again. Miss my Sophie girl. 💔

Eye exam is next up. Should go better than the neurologist. Then I will (hopefully) have fewer typos. And I can turn the text on my phone back to normal size.

Ugh. Neurologist was just more of the same. Didn’t listen. Prescribed a medication I’ve already tried before. What a waste of time.
Appointment #1 is done. My healthcare payment plan has been extended to August. Next up: neurology. Fingers crossed this doctor has something new to try that isn’t an injection.
Still feeling bad. Sorry if I’ve been missing stuff, but I can hardly stay awake. Hoping there’s some relief after tomorrow, but I’ve had 3 different neurologists say they didn’t know what to do for me. Not optimistic.

I’ve had a massive headache all day. Could barely move. It’s a *little* better now, but I guess it’s a good thing I see the neurologist tomorrow.
It was supposed to be clear skies for the annular eclipse. It was cloudy just long enough to cover the sun during most of the eclipse, then cleared up again. So I guess I didn’t miss much. Glasses didn’t come in time, but we’ll be ready for the total eclipse in April!
Finished revisions earlier and sent the MS to alpha readers! Fingers crossed!!! I also started writing a short story while I wait for word on the first one.

The one on top has silver rimmed pages. It’s not clear in photos, but it’s stunning. The one on the bottom I’ve had forever. A sketchbook from an art supply store. Handmade paper. I just love finding them. I have lots more!
