Republicans threw the first punch. Now they're surprised and outraged that the Democrats punched back. Is it arrogance? Raw stupidity? Addiction to miscalculation? Inability to foresee blowback? All of the above.

The odds are much higher that Trump could die suddenly. There would be no Republican votes to remove, so this should be discarded as a distractionist pipe dream.
If the pope is now supposed to a crime fighter, start by arresting Trump. Not for blasphemy, though. It is one of Trump's lesser offenses. He can't even be excommunicated because he was never baptized Catholic and doesn't even pretend to conform his conduct to Christian ideals.
ICE agents who kidnapped innocents are foolishly laboring under a false sense of security. There is no statute of limitations on federal prosecution of kidnapping. Most states also lack a kidnapping statute of limitations. The security blanket will be ripped to shreds the moment Trump falls.
Conditions are just as bad as in the Nazi camps for prison laborers. In some cases maybe worse. Still worse, a lot of these people have not been accused or convicted of any crime.
