It was as bad as that sounds. Like legitimately was 10-20 feet away on all Vuc’s threes it was absurd

Could they do a multi year extension this season or just one year?

What😂

Probable Hot Take:

Not that Vuc would solve many of our defensive issues… but he would help this team a TON offensively imo.

Feel like he wouldnt cost much at all considering hes on the books for next season.

I dont think youre allowed to offer guys on 1 year deals an extension before FA… idk

The Pistons couldnt “extend” Beasley even if they wanted to because hes signed to a 1 yr deal? They would have to let him hit FA first.

I think thats a thing lol

Totally agree. I think where he realistically COULD get a bit better would be in shot deterrence/affecting shots like Stew does so well, but Id assume the shot blocking and timing/footwork/feel for that probably wont suddenly become as good as we want it to be

The broadcast was mentioning this last night and I totally agree: Jaden Ivey was playing within himself last night.

Totally under control, patient, but still explosive.

THAT version of Ivey will be extremely valuable for a long time

Yea it has to get better but to assume hes suddenly going to be a good defensive anchor for this team within a reasonable timeframe is foolish imo… I seriously think we should consider moving on from him

This is definitely what you hoped the team would takeaway from last season.

Understand the value and significance of each and every win.

On the bright side, I thought Duren did well against Sarr offensively. Used his strength advantage well.

The negative being that he was (again) brutal on defense. Being a step late essentially the entire game.

However, due to his early foul trouble (again) he only played 18 mins… #Pistons

I dont think you can overstate how important Beasley has been both on the court and just his presence and leadership.

THIS is what we all wanted when we said we wanted vets to help lead our young guys.

The Pistons court is brutal to look at

I mean… Garland is about as traditional PG as it gets though

I think Cade is fine, I think his back is bothering him and he seems gassed. Hes not elite but hes good enough imo.

Ivey is weird, hes streaky as hell and it is kind of an issue if hes not going to be a real shooter.

Perhaps my favorite twitter feature that is not on Bluesky yet is the ability to turn off retweets of people you follow so they dont clutter your feed.

Hope to see that added

Two lineups that I’d like to see more of:

Cade Sasser THJ Tobias Duren
Ivey Beasley Moore Holland Stew

Staggers Cade/Ivey, keeps energy/defense for both, & movement shooting in both

I dont think Beasley and THJ should play together if you want Sasser/Moore to get minutes #Pistons

I still dont love Sasser as a full time PG, but its so obvious how helpful Sasser and Moore’s secondary ball handling ability has been for our offense.

Still think we need to look to take more C&S 3s when our offense stagnates. #Pistons
