Unfortunately this is our last zine. The project is closing down. I’m no longer able to keep it running & after much thought I decided it would be best to close it rather than the alternatives of changing it to keep it going in some other form.

There’s ONE day left to submit! Any type of work will be accepted, so if you work well under pressure, here’s your last chance.

We accept any medium! #Transformers, another fandom, or original work. This zine is a celebration of creating without being self-critical, so pick a project and join us for our last #zine.

Submission deadline is February 28th.

We checked it out when it was still called Revolt and have a copy of the server already set up over there actually! We’ve been thinking about this for months knowing something like this would be coming eventually, so we could transfer if we needed.

I don’t plan to shut it down, but I have made it clear that if Discord requires anything more than a picture of my face for the age verification coming up, I will be leaving Discord.

At that point I’d have to find someone willing to take over the server and its moderation.

Of course! I’d hate to lose all the work we did and shared.

The server will also remain up. It’ll be an archive so members can see everything, but no new members will be accepted and there will be no ability for members to send messages in the server.

It’s a possibility! Perhaps on occasion I’ll boot up another zine jut for fun.

No, the site and all our zines will remain up indefinitely. The only reason it would come down would be if Neocities removed it, but I have the site backed up so could easily move it to another host if needed.

I considered it but no one came to mind & who knows how long it might have taken to find someone I trusted enough that was also willing to take over.

@artifexendurae.bsky.social is a project with a similar spirit if you want to check it out. But I’d love to see other projects show up too!

We're going to do one more zine as a group, and anyone is welcome to join whether you're an official member or not. The theme is our namesake: "Fuck It, Good Enough" and the guidelines reflect that. As long as your piece doesn't break FIGE's prohibited content rules, you're good to go. It doesn't even have to be Transformers related, just let your imagination run wild and embrace the attitude of "fuck it, good enough". To ensure the widest range of creative freedom, there will be a SFW and an NSFW version of the zine like we did with our Baby Needs Smoko zine. Some ideas to get you started: • Use it as an excuse to finish something you've been procrastinating. • Experiment with a medium or topic you've been nervous to try. • Create something that reflects your experience with FIGE or what it means to you. That high note will be a farewell zine that everyone is welcome to join even if you’re not officially a member of FIGE.

It will be titled “Fuck It, Good Enough” and will very much embody that theme. All other details will be posted in the coming days, so keep an eye out of you want to participate!

It’s with a heavy heart I announce I’ll be closing down FIGE.

Events in my personal life have limited my ability to run this project. Instead of trying to force it into a continued existence that no longer matches my original goals for the project I’ve decided I’d rather end it now on a high note.
