I'm at a Mexican wedding and the groom requested a videogame and anime playlist for dinner and I'm just low key crying over Fairy's Fountain because my lil cus got hitched.

Happy Orban Getting F**ckd Day for those who celebrate!
Siempre que uno echan pata sale feliz siento.
Agreed.
I went to a Michelin guide Taco place and Mexico City and well it was fine and cheap. Still think my old neighborhood Taco stand was better.
Last Friday was seven years to the day I met my husband for the first time. Had a cute lunch date and made a quick stop at the coffee place where it all happened. So yeah, things do, in fact, get better.
Not sure how I feel about the sudden popularity of Birria, like back the with smash burgers. It's everywhere. I fear it will have the French Taco treatment soon and I can't cope with this right now.
I AM HOLDING A LOVELY TRANS FLAG AND DECLARING THUS: HOORAY FOR MY NICE TRANS FRIENDS!!
Will check it out!
Decided to try one of my old suits and damn, haven't been able to fit in those since 2013. But I look very dapper now if I may say so myself.
Hate being a cynic but maybe they just really want the oil at this point.
Will recommend this to my Mexican peeps here. You can always tell when ppl cared enough to set up a place, and here it's obvious.
Just missed cocktails because this time I just did mezcal, Siete Misterios is always a winner.
My hope tonight was that Sodita would be good enough for me to want to come back if I ever get a Mexican food itch and I'm lazy to cook six hours for mole. And In this regard they managed great, I will definitely come back. Overall a good experience, good food, nice service.
Portions are not large, and if I get a tortilla bowl I do expect more than two. But again, fresh blue corn tortillas and some ingredients they are using are expensive and hard to source, so fully get the limitations. This type of project in a place like Estonia is a big bet and takes resources.
Overall the decor is pleasant and if you've seen new design trends in Mexico City, this would fit right in. Music could be more Mexican, only one Mexican diva song in the entire time I was there, great song that one tho.
Would use tiny bit less fresco cheese and sour cream, but I think I get where they coming from. The aguachile was like anything you'd find in Mexico City, and the tres leches cake too. Even with too much strawberries like my mom likes it.
OK, so here's my opinions. The menu is ambitious so let's start there, my usual filter for a place is if they have difficult dishes like mole, usually mid places never venture enough because mole is expensive and difficult to make. Having said that, the chicken coloradito mole tastes as it should.
Telliskivi, and yes. Happily surprised. Name is Sodita
On my way to try the new Mexican restaurant in Tallinn. God, please let it be good. I deserve a little treat.
Got a drone alert today here in Estonia, and I'm just hoping word of this does not reach my mother in Mexico. Because it was pretty meh, and she's not gonna take it rationally. This is something I don't need to deal with.
Doing some cleaning of my photo gallery, and it has fifteen years of WhatsApp screenshot and random stuff automatically uploaded from my phone over the years. It's a wild ride seeing what I was thinking, saying and doing then. Jesus.
I bought a tiny brush for my computer and now everytime there's a speck of dust I do the tiny brush song and brush it clean.
Happy Saint Patrick's Day! I wrote a review for a Mexican-Irish fusion restaurant in Jersey City, but also wrote about American identity in an empire in decline βοΈ johnpaulbrammer.substack.com/p/everyone-i...
Our dog rarely chills in a room where we are not in, so I know the winter was long because the poor pupper has been chasing sun all week and just basking wherever she finds it even if by herself.
Mind me, I could have checked it in, but the connection was short and on top of that the first flight was delayed, turned out the second as well.
Use to have a lot of good faith for @airbaltic.bsky.social but today they charged me at the gate for a heavy backpack and well...back to Finnair it is.
Estonian blue, black and white flag, on a flagpole on top of Tall Herman tower in Tallinn.
Β‘Feliz dΓa de la independencia Estonia!
Someone just randomly sent two bottles of tequila to my house from Germany and I have no clue as to who or why. Is this a threat? Is it a hybrid operation?
The face on the border guard when I try to explain that my Mexican ass is here for an Estonian Independence Function in Edinburgh. I'll accept the whole thing sounds made up.
