And you have to zig when others zag. #bayerleverkusen claimed their first ever #bundesliga title and I didn’t stay on the ground for long. I wanted to get an image to show the chaos on the pitch. So I decided to go up some stairs and get this shot. Dare to be different. #sportsphotography.
But this on the other hand, will have lovers and haters. But it’s something different and that is what you should aim for. What you don’t want is to settle for mediocrity. Get the shots that will be controversial.
I took this during #euro2024. This I can shoot with my eyes closed and two hands behind my back. And so could you. It’s a run of the mill action shot. The only significance of it is that these people are professional athletes in a professional match. It’s a forgettable photo.
Don’t settle for mundane #sportsphotography. Change it up as often as you want. Rules are there to be broken and ripped apart into pieces.

Shooting amateur sports is hell of a lot more fun than shooting pros. Why? Because of access.
