Proud to support -in my own little way as a designer- the launch of this WePlanet Africa campaign, highligting the importance of trade-off thinking and exposing implicit climate hypocrisy.

New explainer: In June, Denmark announced a groundbreaking new agriculture & climate policy, which is the world’s most comprehensive national effort to address the environmental & climate challenges of agriculture. It should help the country reach its goal to reduce ag emissions 55%-65% by 2030. 1/
Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina & Brazil are negotiating together at climate conferences & there's a big meat industry aligned push to escape major methane reductions using GWP*

This is unfolding as I predicted last year in my report: changingmarkets.org/wp-content/u...
my mistake. (Should have read the article in full.)
I warmly welcome a broad-across the isle, blue collar, unionized, buildbuildbuild, yimby... - eco populist movement!
Despite Naomi saying it jokingly, I think an eco'populist' movement; in the sense that it promotes ideas that are ❤️popular and 💚improve the environment (in significant ways) is exactly what we need. It's not degrowth nor 'Micro-consumerist bollocks'.

this is going to be the stupidest administration. anti-science meets anti-regulation. salatin, a hack who was made famous by pollan, another hack, is gonna advise the USDA and is praising the PRIME ACT, which seeks to remove federal inspection of small slaughterhouses.
The take-away has to be: humans have always had a very significant impact on the environment/other beings. It's not 'modernity' or 'capitalism' or 'industrialism', 'the west'... that's the root-problem. Not that those don't come with problems, just that the story is not that simple.
bedankt Olivier!
lifehack-to stay away from the x dumpster fire- setting bsky.app as the default page to open on my browser😅
Make of it what you will. Reactors are essential for a good to great future.
looking for ppl to follow on climate, biodiversity, development, energy, nuclear, alternative proteins, cultivated meat, biotech, CDR, green growth, degrowth, geoengineering, agriculture...
Awesome Episode of 'Business for Good'Pod, about Pivot Bio, a company that produces nitrogen producing microbes. They're put into soils for crops (corn, wheat, sorghum), reducing the need for fertilizer. No runoff. No emissions. Just efficiency. 💚biotech...

Broken Record Temperatures hit new highs, yet world fails to cut emissions (again) UN environment programme 。
this is a bloody great name for a climate report

always here for any questions about us :-) we've got ppl in the UK aswell, they're really just getting started with a UK chapter
beginnen met 'hello world' zeker :-)
