Liam Rosenior gone. An utterly predictable end for a smart but raw coach who had no basis to command authority at a club like Chelsea.
Maresca's departure wasn't in the plan, but how could the hierarchy not have foreseen how this would play out?

Pochettino - proven winner and Premier League veteran : 2 year contract at Chelsea.
Rosenior - won nothing, never managed in the Premier League : 5.5 year contract at Chelsea.
A case in point of the madness at Stamford Bridge.
Owners absolutely clueless.
Always wanted to do a 10am at The Cruc:
Bit neatly didn't as Viagogo ticket turned out to be fake.
Full refund and emergency purchase at face value later (viagogo had one left) & Im 100 sheets up and on Selby (one of fave players of all time) table!
Come on the SatNav!

Not trying to go to a Chelsea match at the moment.
Only real way is via resale ripoff site.
Membership is worthless.
Been 'happy' to pay a premium for years and pay 100% + extra but not for this dog shit.
Where's the entertainment?
Change strategy or sell.

When will this clown show end?
Rosenior is out of his depth and has lost the dressing room.
Terrible appointment from the people that also hired Potter after sacking Tuchel & sacked Pochettino after half 2 of season 2nd in form table behind champs Man City.
I despair.

Good evening Crucible Theatre!
The theatre of dreams.
Been coming since 2011.
Every visit transported back through the years, especially as a 9yo & the 1985 final; parents let me stay up 🙏
Have loved the game ever since.
Highlight of my year.

Good. It’s easy to forget that climate change denial & shilling for fossil fuel companies provided a template for Tufton Street, Brexit & pretty much every egregious example of persuading populations to vote against their own interests. The story of Don Pearlman should be taught in kindergartens…
Starmer’s handling of the vetting story has somehow become a bigger problem for Starmer than the vetting story. Extraordinary.
It is preposterous and honestly rather shameful for Starmer to act so upset over the Mandelson affair. He is basically attacking Robbins for doing precisely what he wanted him to do inews.co.uk/opinion/unbe...
On rattler 1 of 3 en route to my

Excuse grammar; still the same 10 weeks on:

6 days after Trump made 13 celebratory posts in a hour claiming that Iran surrendered to all his demands and the war is over, he’s back threatening to blow up power plants and bridges.
When Angela Rayner underpaid £40,000 in stamp duty, Richard Tice said it was "morally completely indefensible” and she should resign if she had “any moral decency”.
Now we learn he set up four shell companies that let him avoid paying £100,000 he owed in tax and to then transfer the cash to Reform
Good evening Waterloo (London) !
Wife's birthday drinks.
She didn't realise she had chosen a pub with the Chelsea Man U match on..and I forgot to point out.

After 20 months, Starmer is now on his third Cabinet Secretary, his third FCDO Perm Sec, his third/fourth No. 10 chief(s) of staff and his fifth No. 10 Director of Comms
Spaceballs : The New One
Mel Brooks is 100 in June.
Absolute legend.

Brutal assessment. Hard to argue with.
What was Robbins' motive to withhold Mandelson failed the vetting?
Utterly bizarre.
Hard to believe the failure wasn't verbalised.
Though not impossible..
Starmer already in a hole in the polls from other domestic debacles: Winter Fuel, Benefits, Immigration, Economy..
A mess.
This government's anti-immigration agenda will starve Britain of skilled labour and global talent for decades to come inews.co.uk/opinion/reev...
Good evening Weybridge!

People talk about cutting benefits (some constantly) but what about the Pension Triple Lock?
4.8% increase this year.
It's not right that a) the State Pension is not means tested b) the benefit rises more than any other.
The triple lock alone costs the state c. £15bn a year.
The McSweeney strategy - which was always meant to be judged by its ability to maintain public support - is a complete and utter failure, remarkably so, and that fact should be drilled into Labour's consciousness as a warning to the future.
Badenoch eviscerated by Starmer at PMQs on Iran.
Though, agree with Davey that the King shouldn't be sent to see Shitler in the US.
Trump seems to only respond to leverage that benefits him.
No US trade deal, no King visit.

This is right, but I'd go further: winning the domestic argument on the free movement of people is what's needed to unlock anything further than the reset. That means Starmer has to repudiate many of his own arguments on migration.

Reminder: there's no point doing a deal with him, no matter how advantageous, because you have no way of trusting he will stick to his word.
Reform, in theory, could have been a gift to Labour: they divided the Right-wing vote. All Labour had to do was govern in a way that held their Center-Left coalition together
Instead, they chose to act foolishly and blow up their own coalition in pursuit of a voting base with no interest in them
