I’ll keep trying. I affirm this to myself a lot, I just know I have to continue. Even though it feels like agony seeing my art skills wax and wane. It’s all a cycle but with each turn of the wheel I know that it gets a little better.

I become myself through my art. My art is the tool that allows me to cut away all the nonsense about life that I don’t care about.

and I think you can see it, I think you can see my struggles with my work, but I think you can also see how much I care.

I want to make stuff you can see me through.

I feel embarrassed that like I’ve reduced myself to like this “hobbyist” shell. I care just as much but the reality of like having to do this like other career part to feed myself just sucks.

and I don’t want art as a method to make money!!! I JUST WANT TO DRAW ALL DAY!!!

I’m not a hobbyist.

i feel like my full 9-5 makes it so much harder to do my art and be as dedicated which just like sucks so hard

like not just as like a cost for failure, like actively player driven secret revealing. I mean obviously this has the conceit of a setting where secrets matter but I feel like that would be intentionally a big part of this.

ttrpg meta currency that’s just secrets. give up secrets for power and safety and have them totally not bite you back
