If you feel you don't have the patience to read, do yourself a favor and listen to Thandiwe Newton's audio version. So good!! I first read JE when I was 12 or so and rereads over the years admittedly included some skimming. But once I listened to TN's version, I enjoyed every syllable!

Lord I can't type when my lenses are sticky. I looked and I've rated his 5 eps aired to date as all 10s, even the hard to watch 116. But 101, 102, 201, and 301 (💙) are masterful.

I'm so excited/nervous because his eps are some of the best (overall quality - writing, acting, direction) and 301 is my #favoriteepisode which I haven't yelled about nearly enough on this platform! And it doesn't live up to my expectations i will be so disappointed!

I'm afraid now what they've also done to a show that was an okay placeholder (with a great cast) to fill the time before OL returned. It was great that they added J&H to the E&B story that we knew so much about, but now I'm not even sure if I'll watch S2.😵‍💫 If I do, it's only for the actors.

Oh jeez, now I'm imagining it further - MBR will have Julia apprenticed to the lace maker, will hear her trying to sing the song, and will teach them both the full lyrics, then she and Henry will either die or disappear thru time again, not knowing that Faith is their granddaughter🙄😬🙃
