Teaching kids Science Database & Noodletools today. Loving the new Noodletools features #noodletools.
A student was holding her head when I confirmed she must cite every photo in her project, even the collage. @noodletools makes it easy (remember typewriters? LOL). I've made demo videos for the students. They can do this! @APSLibrarians @BoykinBryan @wmspta_wolves #wmsresearches
You were right @VATeacher32 World Geo students were ready to research. @CanvasLMS @noodletools APS subscription databases - we covered a lot of ground. Looking forward to the gallery walk in the library Thurs & Fri. @BoykinBryan @wmspta2019 @SSatWMS @APSLibrarians @APSsocstudies
Creating a bibliography slideshow for science students. Excited about how easy @galecengage has made it to toggle between citation styles and how the databases integrate with @noodletools. #wmsresearches @APSLibrarians @wmspta_wolves @WMSWolfScience @kristie_board @BoykinBryan
Another student made an @animoto with a QR code in it that goes to her @noodletools work cited! Technology mashup at its best!!

Creating instructional slide shows re. @noodletools for 6th gr science so they can cite their sources. Partnership w/ 6th gr sci teachers has been awesome this year - finding reliable sources & citing them! @BoykinBryan @APSLibrarians @APSVaSchoolBd @APSscience @wmspta_wolves
Started my first project of the year this week! The librarian got kids set up on NoodleTools and so far so good. Looking forward to seeing if our new approach to introducing reaearch is paying off.
NoodleTools is really great! I also love that it has an affordable individual option so that homeschooling students can use it, too! #EduSkyChat
A2: It's not a new tool, but I can't imagine not using NoodleTools with students. It's a great resource for helping students organize research projects from start to finish. They are always updating it, too! #EduSkyChat
Introduced databases & noodletools to 6th graders. Love how my 6th graders are easily picking up how to use high school level databases.
Really impressed with how research is going! Everyone’s notecards are on the right track with none of the major mistakes I’m used to seeing. Credit goes to our librarian who was extremely clear and patient when teaching the kids NoodleTools #EduSky
