Hunt and Will. A life based on desire alone. The love it needs, it seeks so deeply, is in the other person's chest! The claws dig deep, dig deeper in, the hands move out and hold the heart, wondering how it got there, it is held up in the air. What did I do to deserve this? Thank you for letting me.

Hayribs (right) is a human without a human mind. It is as intelligent and able but not verbal or willing to cooperate with humans. Creature and Hayribs play fight, chase and hide. They don't talk, they signal and act. As two animals they live their lives, lovingly like a human would.

Creature (left). The creature is a traveller. A shifting mess of whatever suits it best, a barely verbal and highly intelligent being without a destination or direction, without a sense for time. It meets Hayribs in a forest it isn't familiar with.

William, Caretaker. The owner of the community house in a dying village. Disease and misery plaguing the city left kids without parents, friends beyond help. So he took care of others to a point where he forgot his own humanity and sense of reality. He moved away out of pure fear of his own mind.

Maurice my pirate! He sailed with Alys, they sailed the seas and awakened ancient curses. The elements of the sea took over, Maurice lost his humanity to the wind while Alys became one with the sea. They roam through the ocean as mere myths now. He had crutches for the transformation

Iko! She gave me my first experiences with gender expression. She went through a worse identity crisis than I did I think. she lived in a city with the family and then moved in with a close friend. The friend turned 19 and ended his life and Iko had to learn how to live on his own from there

Maoonou was the first one I saw as an OC. He caught fireflies in his eyes as a way of storing emotional baggage. He was more of a concept than anything but he was loved. He was the first one I made a character sheet for

Kuri was my very first big oc, created at the start of 2020. She was a goat who acted as a hand of a benevolent god but who turned away from him over time because of cruelties her friends faced. First OC, very all over the place but still a start

Working in jobs that require this much contact with vulnerable people of all ages made me grow so much. It feels like shit all the way through and it's very difficult. It still felt rewarding to me as an autistic kid with anxiety. I am surrounded by humans and not an alien between strangers anymore

Going outside helps a ton with mental health. Walk to work, go to the shop via bike, go walk around your house, take a walk in the forest if you can, look at other people's lives and how we all keep on existing next to each other
