ahh okay, you would have to actively enable it so youre probably not doing that. Q3 is a pretty small quant so my guess would be that Q3 is just too heavily quantized for that model. I also tried m2.5 UD-Q3_K_XL briefly a while ago but it was just too slow for me

It takes another OAuth to request more atproto permissions. It's a little more dev work, but apps should definitely allow you to select the the features you want and prompt you to OAuth again if you press a button you didn't grant enough access for. @pds.ls is a good example of this.
