Please know that Democratic candidates do not have to collect signatures to be on the ballot.
In 2026, nearly every seat will be competitive.
But there are several spoiler campaigns running that are asking folks to sign petitions.
Don't fall for it.
Not only was it a major night for Democrats nationally, but also in local elections across North Carolina.
You won't read about about these in the headlines tomorrow, but NC Dems are continuing to lay impressive groundwork — building the bench and racking up wins.
Redistricting is just *another* example of why state legislative seats are so important.
Despite Congressional races getting 10x the attention and funding, they are much more influenced by the leaders being elected further down the ballot.
This is just the latest effort in a series of attempts to steal elections in North Carolina — Republicans will stop at nothing to silence the voters and keep their power.
NC-11 is one to watch this year — and Jamie Ager is easily the best choice for Democrats!

A few years ago, Sen. Durbin's office took a chance on me.
They didn't really have any reason to — I was a kid from NC, with limited political experience, at a small college.
But without that shot, I wouldn't be here today. And I know I'm not the only one.

The Blue Ridge Parkway is one of our greatest assets in Western NC. We need to do everything we can to protect it and the people at the NPS who make it great.
