The light we need is the people that, since an early age, care about others. Getting old and realising about your humanity and fragility and finally start caring? Good for you, dude, but I prefer we praise people that don't wait until so late in life.
I loved Herdling, such a great game! And the guiding mechanic was definitely FUN, and also giving a feeling of responsibility for the herd, but agreeing with what you say: they are attached to you, so be careful how you influence them. Also love how they worked in it, dreamlike!
screenshot from the TV show Columbo. the titular character Columbo is shown standing at the edge of a driveway, looking down at golden retriever who is happily basking on the pavement in front of him. the subtitles read: "You're a real friendly boy, aren't you? Oh, you're a girl."
thinking about this screenshot from Columbo that makes it look like a 90s point-and-click adventure game
The state of the games industry, the entertainment world and the widespread symptoms that the entire world's economy is experiencing since quite some time, in a nutshell. A must see!
Same here, didn't know about this video but it must be the best one showing the biggest problems of the industry (and world's economy while at it) that I've seen. Thank you for sharing! Now I'll go unboil my blood somewhere...

Going back home after 5 amazing days at the #devcom and #gamescom. Thank you for all the inspiration, motivation and memories!
Will you be around during the rest of the gamescom days?
Storytelling. I didn't know this when I first thought about how cool it would be to make games. But years later it was clear that the endless stream of thoughts and ideas had to go somewhere to keep myself sane. And the challenges of game development: an overthinker can survive as a problem solver!
Spent a few hours adding some stuff to the educational game about a wolf I made last year in Unreal. I really would like to publish it this year!
It's looking great, Raph! Can't wait to play
Humans change and grow at human speeds. Any system that ignores this reality causes trauma.
Independent of any good intentions or the logical perfection of some underlying ideology.
It is so. Your music is as inspiring as can be!
So true! I mean, what are the chances that we exist to be involved in this?
When it's born from a necessity, not just an idea
Amazing, thanks for the prompt reply! Can't wait :)
Is the backing period over? I can't see an option to do other than follow in the Kickstarter page
Please treat game developers with respect.
You have no idea of what they are advocating for you on your behalf and by being toxic or negative and forcing them to make changes and playing armchair gamedev you are inevitably pushing your BIGGEST CHAMPIONS out of the room.
