The new Mario movie was very fun to soy face at. Full of lots of references and a great soundtrack. It also went at a million miles an hour so lacked actual emotional impact and meaningful plot!

I used to really not like how I looked without my glasses, but now I'm thinking of maybe getting some contacts so I can sometimes go without! Perhaps I got used to seeing myself without them whilst editing. I think it quite changes the vibe I give off, so I'd like to experiment with that more π

Around 3 and a half months since I was sat in a hospital room in Thailand, so close to bottom surgery, now, I am once again so far away from it. In brief, I've cancelled the postponement and was refunded. I'm doing my best to keep my head up, and making the most out of my time (Hence the photos) π
Guess who forgot to promote their new video? Surely couldn't have been me π today is about what I call uncomfortable comfort zones, how they can affect transition, and how you need a little leap of faith to start making them comfortable again π

My phone died just as I got out onto a rooftop to see the lunar eclipse last night! So I can't share a picture of my view, but I can confirm it was beautiful π I was also joined by a big spider! A friendly fellow, but gave me a little fright as he appeared out of nowhere. It is Australia after all π
I should really remember to post here more often! I know it was a couple of days ago, but I feel blessed that Mardi Gras happened so shortly after my move here π with all the queer and trans joy, I couldn't feel more welcome here! It was a lovely night π and I know more await me here

Unfortunately, that cold I mentioned in my last post persisted, and a sore throat with a nasty cough aren't very compatible with filming πI'm mostly recovered now, so new video is in the works and will be out soon πJust please be a little patient with me! π

Me and @discoveringfiona.bsky.social went to mardi gras fair day last weekend! It was fun! I think going to pride events are so important in reminding ourselves there are so many people who relate to our experience out there in the world!

With everything that's been happening, I've been neglecting exercise a bit. Therefore, I've been trying to get back into running as I've felt my fitness decline. I'm starting slow but hoping to join a local run club so I can exercise, social, and touch grass all at the same time! π

Valentine's Day doesn't just have to be for romantic partners, you can use it to celebrate any form of love! So whether you're spending today with your partner(s), friends, or simply treating yourself, I hope you have a wonderful day π
As I stayed in the UK, I was made to think about important childhood and teenage memories, and how I feel about looking back at that pre-transition me. I can say that I can look back fondly at them now, and today I talk about how I got there π

Due to current commitments, it is very unlikely to be possible for me to find time to accommodate for recovery next year. It's a little tough to process, but I'm still moving forward with my life! Regardless, I will keep you informed of any more updates π
Also, due to their general cancellation/rescheduling policy, the clinic will affirms that the surgery must be completed within two years of the initial scheduled date. So, for me, this must be before 20/11/2027, as the 21 falls on a weekend.
To give a little update on the bottom surgery postponement. They've updated their requirements from 6 to 12 months, without giving me any reason as to why they've increased the time.

I had a nice time hanging out with some old friends that haven't seen me in a couple of years, if not since before transition! It can make me a little nervous to see people who knew me before, but it all went really well! π

So, when I was in London a while back, there were more cuddly animals that I discovered in a little ecology park! They all had some information about the animal and what they would be doing in the winter. I couldn't help but take photos with them all! π
It's been a fortnight since my last video, so that means it's time for the new one! This time, talking about how my coming out and transition changed my relationship with my parents π

Another trip to London today! A very typical grey day, but no rain... So I count that as a win! This is a part of the city I've not really explored too much before, and was pleasantly surprised! π
I did visit the O2 back in 2007, but barely remember it! Although I know it's changed a lot since then!

I got new glasses recently, and for the first time, some prescription sunglasses! The prospect of seeing clearly in the sun is rather exciting, even if it's winter and raining non-stop here right now...
I'll have a chance to use them very soon though! π
It's finally time, it's the new video π A very emotional one for me, and I'm hoping that in sharing this experience it'll help me move forward, and also help others avoid a similar experience.

I went into London and visited the V&A today! I permitted myself to buy some new earrings... They're too good to ignore. There's so much there, and I felt like I barely got to see half of what the museum had to offer! Some really wonderful things and I had a great day π
