When I first got back into it around Summer 2021, my only goal was to defeat 1st-EXTREME. Then a doldrum began from being stamina-locked on 13s followed by the A3 U-region void. I thought 15PFC was the highest I'd go. I'm so glad I was wrong.
Capped off the month of March with my first 17 PFC. 2.5 years since the "modern DDR" grind began in earnest. This chart was not on my radar at all until deciding to try for EX that day. I didn't even know I was on pace until the last freeze ended. That's how drained I was.

After almost 18 months, I have perfectly completed the CHAOS Expert duo:
CHAOS Expert ESP-14 (Oct 20, 2024)
CHAOS Terror-Tech Mix ESP-15 (Mar 15, 2026)
Raised my Level 12 ceiling to 1p. Something I am never doing again.
Just finished recovering from a chest cold in February that left me with a lingering cough/congestion for 2 weeks. Only to come down with a new head cold within the following days that has me coughing up new stuff.
That 1:1 on "months":"being sick" needed to be maintained I guess.
Good news is the boiler still works after giving the controller a hard reset. Bad news is it's over 30 years old and needs to be replaced before something irreplaceable breaks.
I gave up on DGEF26 due to being inundated in draining physical labour on top of being sick for a week. But on the very last day of the month, our bath's hot water handle fell right off the pipe, and the flooding took out our heat. The month couldn't just end. It had to fuck with me one more time.

2025 DDR saw the completion of so many milestones that I'm struggling to fully account for them.

I did 5 years in Mentor.
To celebrate my 41st birthday (in JP time), I played MAX 300 expert 41 consecutive times in one session. It was the second largest contiguous session played all year, done on the back of a workday. I'm especially happy with the consistency of performance. Am I really 41?
As of yesterday, Flare SP 89k! How much farther can I push it before the year ends? I need 17s if I'm aiming for WORLD, but pushing the remaining 15s is a reasonable stepping stone.

All the last few months' maniacal grinding of PFCs and AAAs finally caught up. Under new rules I qualified for 4 substitutions to promote 2 tiers.
