god this whole series has been a very cathartic read for me, i found this game so deeply frustrating and have only soured more on it as time passes

i get that it’s hard though, especially when you have perfectionist tendencies and/or tie the quality of your artwork to your self worth, definitely wouldn’t know that from experience lmaooo

the way i see it making wonky first attempts and iterating is just an essential part of the process and you may as well just attack it, and if you still can’t quite execute how you want it’s still better than being paralysed at the blank canvas

one of the most unexpected benefits of switching to linux for me has weirdly been old pc games. some of the stuff i remember having a conniption trying to get running on modern windows just goes on linux with proton, it's really sweet
