CT is one of the wealthiest states in the U.S., yet 40% of our residents are struggling. This is an indictment of our political / economic system, and requires real solutions. I plan to introduce several bills this session to help remedy this. Everyone deserves a chance for a better life!

Upon being elected, I noticed that not a single person at the Capitol had anything bad to say about Joe. This is truly rare and remarkable for someone being involved in politics for so long, and it is a testament to his character.

Joe Serra was my predecessor in the State House, where he served for 28 years. He was well known throughout town and at the Capitol for his love of Middletown, his sense of humor, and the stories he would tell.
