also super depressing when i DO participate in these hobbies as a treat and get excited about it its like "well how much is that card worth?" girl i dont care!!! i just collect cards with my favorite pkmn on them!!!

talking specifically about tcg collecting here but also applies to EGL and a lot of other hobbies of mine now that i think of it 😔 what was once a fun way to curate the things i love has turned into an unaffordable nightmare lol
