Not a bad hypothesis

We agree (but then perhaps you also agree with Trita)
I suppose. I take myself to be informing you of an alternative reading of the phrase.
I said nothing about Israel “manipulation” btw, that’s your addition
I quite agree. But if as an objective matter the war advances Israel‘s interests and harms America’s, it‘s perfectly accurate to say the war is for Israel. (It’s also quite ugly to suggest that you can’t make this point without being implicitly in league with neo-nazis.)
That’s not what I’d call factual (nor is Ned’s reply) but whatever. The war isn’t in the US’s security interest (but is in Israel’s) — who then is it for? We also have reporting like this from yesterday. www.theguardian.com/world/2026/m...
Do you have a factual complaint about his post?

wow
The political press very clearly understands “truth” as a social agreement, a compromise position between everyone important enough to have an opinion. It did not reflect on how this would allow dedicated liars to go all-in on lies again and again and dramatically shift the position.
Even for the vast majority of STEM fields, this is completely false.
Sorry to be blunt but... "there are just not that many Americans clamoring to go into academia" -- completely false!

This quote is from a piece that’s 8 years old now.
Lying to your readers, for concocted strategic reasons, is deplorable.
For a journalist? Really?
Basically your only job as a journalist is to tell the truth
It’s so weird that people latched onto a bunch of mostly bullshit justifications for disliking a technology that has immediate obvious negative societal externalities. It’s made it way harder to teach writing but people scream about imaginary lakes evaporating.
*sigh* if you insist…
oh
This is amongst the most impactful two minutes of broadcasting I’ve ever seen.
By Emma Murphy, International Editor, ITV News. #Gaza
a fucking moron: debunking the IAT means we've debunked the very idea of implicit bias
Everyone in Toronto talks like this
Stipulating that it would be desirable for home prices to come down, presumably they aren’t going to come down without a large reduction in demand.
Ah yes… picturesque, quaint, residential… Dufferin St
Not the point but American traditional is still popping
it's funny that he just stopped writing about Gaza once it became undeniable what was happening
very real
