Same on 11/22/63 and Say Anything was the other one that just came out last year on Hulu and I haven’t gotten around to it

I have also seen one of these as a movie! (There are miniseries about 2 of the others but I haven’t watched them yet)

Just found the NY Times’ top 100 books of the 21st century list. I’ve read 11 of them but whole heartedly disagreed with the order in which those were ranked #Booksky

I’ll always remember being at the first annual Doug’s Opening Day Pizza Bake and Charity Hike to Benefit Victims of @psr1973.bsky.social.

You have to hike 11.67 miles to get to it but the pizza is almost worth it

Instagram just reminded me of an all-time quote from @joeposnanski.com in his yearly Holiday Draft:

“I love that in a draft literally just labeled as ‘Holiday Villains’, we’ve had ‘communism’, ‘the concept of time’, and ‘the sun’ have all made an appearance. And ‘John Wilkes Booth’!”

Every year a local brewery teams with a local candy company for a holiday flavor. Every year they knock it out of the park. This year is no different

I liked it. Meltzer and Mensch have done 4 of them I believe, all about different assassination plots on different presidents that were ultimately foiled (Washington, Lincoln, FDR, and now Kennedy)

They’re always really well researched and easy to read, but I like Meltzer’s writing in general
