"Why do you want to have a 1970s music pavilion at the Shakespeare festival?"

"It features wine made by the chairman of the Chinese Communist Party!"

"But how does that make it anything to do with Shakespeare?"

"Mao is the vintner of our disco tent!"

If bombing those two particular cities was important they wouldn't have deliberately left them untouched before.

It’s bad but it’s like, interesting bad. So many baffling creative decisions all over the place.

I’d take that over just boring any day.

Posta Frontal as depicted in Philipo Vadi's Arte De Gladitoria. The image shows a man wearing a crown in a profiled stance from behind, holding his sword in his left, held up high with the point raised diagonally in the air. Also, his buttocks are unreasonably prominent.

The game itself is so good but the further I'm getting into Pathologic 3's achievement hunting the more frustrating it's getting.

Not "negative experience" frustrating. More "non-functioning game". So many questlines can just arbitrarily bug out beyond repair.

The void? I’ve heard it’s harder but never played it myself.

Remakes, kind of. The scenario is the same and there’s a lot of broad strokes in common, but the stories are different.

Tbh the message that the games are super hard and playing them is miserable is kind of overblown imo

"Hey mister why do you keep running into the park?"
"You made me play hide and seek and now I'm so mad my heart is gonna rip out my chest."
"do you like the park?"
"No, it thoroughly depresses me"

Pathologic 3 lets you agree to babysit some kids and it makes you so mad you might actually die. Peak.

Huge fan of how Artemy is supposed to be the local superstitions guy but Daniil is out there holding the plague back by fighting a literal plague monster
