Do you remember Stop Tony Meow?
This ridiculous idea was selected for preservation by the National Library of Australia, was mentioned in the Washington Post, and earned the attention/ire of the Australian Prime Minister's office.

Wow. Sofa is a well made app. It's been a while since I've seen something made so well. Inspiring.
A screenshot of video player controls appearing in macOS Tahoe’s “Liquid Glass” style appearing above subtitle text (closed captions). The text elements are ‘refracting’ through the control making a confusing and complicated interface.

Beijing robot half marathon is on Sunday.
NASA does so much good for humans everywhere. Imagine if they could "go the extra mile" and speak in metric.
"Hard to miss." "Artemis." Very good joke. Champagne comedy here, people.
Those bright orange balloons make the capsule (h)Ar(d)temis.
Quite good. I'd watch again.
It's too far away to see. 5000+Km up. :/
An image from the Artemis II live stream. Earth is framed behind a part of the spacecraft. Australia is visible, and facing the spacecraft.
Australia under Artemis. Not long til splashdown.
A young magpie perched on a plant, facing left of frame, leaning forward about to fly.
Mao the magpie.

Blast!
"Physicist at Curtin Uni Martin Towner told the ABC that, while Orion will travel over eastern Australia on the way back to Earth, at that point it will be more than 10,000km above the surface, far above the atmosphere, during the daylight, so we won't be able to see anything."
A map of Artemis II’s reentry track. It moves from Australia (adelaide) over the pacific to touch down in the ocean near the USA.
A screenshot of a weather app showing the weather forecast for that moment.
Looks like Artemis II will fly over #Adelaide as it reenters just before 7am Saturday morning. I wonder if we'll be able to see any fireworks. Forecast is slightly cloudy/showers, and it might still low enough light to see it…

Is your boss making you write an agent skill?
"feed it your Skill file, and it outputs a "sanitized version" that looks complete and professional, but has the core knowledge stripped out. It also generates a private backup documenting all the extracted core knowledge—that is your real career asset."
Well, that was fun. I had an invite from Vision Australia's Studio 1 podcast to discuss how accessibility is considered during mobile app delivery projects: indie and corporate.

I put socks on.
There's no better time to break the distance from Earth record.
A photograph of black and white magpie feathers scattered on the ground.
Security camera footage of a black cat carrying a bird.
Leave your cats inside at night you fucks.
Hoping it isn't Marshall.
I watched all the Rocky movies. They hold up. 🥊
The first image sent back from the Artemis 2 mission. It’s a photograph of earth.
"That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human who ever was, lived out their lives.
…Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals & emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot."
If you gave Sunshine a look before and the intro didn't grab you, please have another gander.
Small things i didn't mention in the video:
- I highlight severe weather events in red in the daily forecast text
- Improved Voice Over in settings, weather view, and the new welcome flow.
He'll read them both.
Nobody made any jokes this year?
App idea. Federally funded.
"FuelSafe"
Scans QR codes at service stations; little else.
For the low low price of $3M, I am willing to do my part, and build it. HMU.

TIL. I'd been building to my phone this whole time and using accessibility modes on device.
This afternoon, I saw a family of New Holland Honey Eaters chirping and bathing in my bird bath. Was at least six of them.
I'd never seen them in the yard before. I planted a few native shrubs to attract them, and it looks like it's working.
