So I wasn't allowed to watch this in my young years. Even when I grew up, it didn't really stick out to my overly modern tastes.

But with me now being into animation history, & having surrounded myself with fans (some of which would show an ep or two), it's time this OG Nicktoon got a proper look.

What I am saying is, don't push the whole umbrella under the bus over the actions of a specific group.

I think at this point, cartoon community isn't a singular entity. It's now a bunch of little subcommunities under the broad umbrella.

This is in some ways a good thing. But it also causes some groups, like ATLA die-hards, to convince themselves it's okay to spread leaks due to misinformed ethics.

He's used to working with other indie animators, and I note that Mehdi Alibeygi has joined his team here.

I obviously have matured enough to not rely solely on Disney or any of the big American studios for that matter to push animation forward, but it'd be nice to know all that prestigious talent is being put to good use, y'know?

Not to say odds of that being the case are reduced to zero but the first concrete facts we're getting aren't inspiring confidence in folks for a reason.

I keep saying - it doesn't have to be amazing but it has to be different.
