17-year-long Scottish study of 82,000+ adults finds commuting by bike reduces your risk of:
โข early death
โข hospitalisation for any reason
โข cardiovascular disease
โข cancer mortality
โข treatment for mental health problems.
Yeah, but those LTNs and bike lanes are *really* annoying.
Definitely doesn't have all the bells and whistles but checklist + Daily notes works well for me youtu.be/ODhHTngIMJE?...

We updated our BindCraft preprint with lots of new exciting results! We release all our binder sequences and models, include more in silico analysis, novel design targets, and present AAV retargeting to specific cell types using de novo binders!

Super excited to preprint our work on developing a Biomolecular Emulator (BioEmu): Scalable emulation of protein equilibrium ensembles with generative deep learning from @msftresearch.bsky.social ch AI for Science.

#ExperimentRequest does anyone have room in their budget to A) retrain MPNN exclusively on cold-adapted proteins and B) express some designs and measure their thermostability?
edible antifreeze? yum ๐ง
btw that staircase isn't Midjourney hallucinating, it's actually a real place @embl.org ๐งฌ
so sick!
as long as it doesn't shrug
Now I can share external links without the posts being down regulated - I thought it would share this again!:)
I have compiled a list of now 100+ companies in the 'TechBio' space into a fully open database for the community.

aha nice! I wonder if I could combine it with a summary prompt and then use it to create a bot? You could even add a classifier to get the relevant ones ๐ค oh well, into the weekend project pile it goes never to re-emerge
yes, I think the summary output looks very familiar if you've ever played with lit summary prompts. So the secret sauce must be a human in the loop selecting papers from a list of hits? Sounds suspiciously like drug discovery
Or build something similar? @amelie-iska.bsky.social @ddelalamo.bsky.social
Any chance of getting Biology+AI Daily in here? Biggest X pull factor left for me tbh
Great stuff! Can't wait to try this out (yay MIT) ๐ค
or vs something like TCRmodel2?
who knew it would be easier to get everyone to switch social media platforms than getting them to use hg38
Know as the "not so South building " now I guess? ๐
Woah, on the other side of the road?
