It's getting more common now sadly because of the way work culture is worldwide. In my field we're made to feel guilty if we aren't working at all our max potential which just makes it worse. But it's good to know we're not alone!
You're right tho that you can't just push through it. It's more about taking small steps. Putting enough on your plate that you can deal with then slowly adding a bit more. Instead of trying to just "be productive!" Because "being productive!" Is what causes that burn out in the first place.
As someone dealing w burnout right now though I'm stuck working out of literally no choice I do think stopping for too long can make burnout worse over time bc it makes it harder to go back. To cope w not being able to step away I've minimized what I allow myself to do.Like leaving work at work etc.
The course will help down the line because having more credentials and experience helps. But as Eerie said it won't be an instant change. Because change isn't usually instant. It's very gradual and it's going to feel like nothing is happening until it does.
