#NationalGriefAwarenessWeek
This is our first Christmas in 25 years without our beautiful Evanne - she loved it so much and it is a really difficult time for all of us - it’s hard to raise much enthusiasm this year.
We miss her so much - her smile, her laugh, her kindness …

We’ve almost hit our family fundraising target of £2000 to support @braintumourrsch.bsky.social at next week’s Walk of Hope.
If anyone has a few £ to donate, please support this vital charity and help us teach our target. Thank you to everyone that has already

Local news story:
Evanne was so proud to be asked to do a commissioned piece of art for the Spital Chapel - this meant a lot to all of us, as it was the last piece of art she did.

We got engaged after 6 weeks, married 14 months later and today we celebrate 33 years since our wedding.
We’ve been through the best of times and the absolute worst of times, but always together as soulmates.
Love you always, Vanessa ❤️

I also want to play some of her favourite songs. It’s a few years since I played in public and 25 years since I played solo gigs and radio shows, so lots of practice needed I think…. 😬
I promised Evanne I’d start to play guitar and write songs again, so I’m keeping my promise - bought a cheap Vox travel guitar to add to the collection, so I can practice on the go.
Aiming to do a charity gig in Spring/Summer 2026 to raise money for some of the brain tumour causes that meant so much
Sharing thoughts and love with all of the other bereaved dads today on Father’s Day - we lost our beautiful Evanne almost 7 weeks ago and I would give anything to chat to her and hug her again.
Miss you, sweetheart X
Today would have been Evanne’s 25th Birthday. She always loved that she shared the same birthday as her icon, Marilyn Monroe - I hope the 2 of them are sat together somewhere sharing special memories & a drink.
If you have a minute, please raise a glass and remember her ❤️
Congratulations to our beautiful daughter Evanne and incredible son in law Adam on your marriage.
An amazing day for the most special couple, with lots of precious memories.
Love always, Mum & Dad ❤️

Our beautiful & incredible daughter Evanne has spent 6 years battling brain tumour/cancer & the awful side effects. What sustained her was her love of comedy & music - she could really do with a boost now, if you can spare a minute to send her a message
Please join us on Friday 14th March for our Evening of the Arts, 7pm, Trent Hall. Tickets now on sale:

Same! Wishing you all the best for 2025, my friend
It’s 6 years today since our daughter Evanne collapsed and was diagnosed with a brain tumour/cancer. She has defied the odds to be where she is today and continues to be the most amazing, determined and inspiring person we know. We are so proud of you, Evanne and here for you always ❤️
Wishing everyone a Happy Christmas with your family & loved ones
