I'll never forget how, in the early years of Russia's war against Ukraine, (i.e. from 2014), when ammunition depots were going up in flames, stupid and/or corrupt western journalists blamed UKRAINE for "poor storage" rather than recognizing that AGGRESSOR RUSSIA was blowing them up.

Senator Chris Van Hollen has supported Ukraine leading up the full-scale invasion, and since. Voting for every bill including Ukraine aid that's been proposed. And supporting legislation crafted to hold Russia accountable as recently as last year. A consistent ally in the senate.
