It's been 3 days since my wife passed away. The sadness comes and goes in waves. It is hard.

I finished level III today. I'm now an Orff certified music teacher.

Les Miserables would have been better if he stuck with the main characters instead of going on and on about different battles in the war. I gave up on that one.

The Wild Robot 2024 Chris Sanders, dir. Sweet movie, gorgeously animated, lots of heart and pretty funny. Wish I had seen it at the theater.

The Talented Mr. Ripley 1999 • Anthony Minghella Amazing cast. Very dark. Tom is almost a psychopath. Pacing is on the slow side but picks up half way through. Liked it.

Frustrated. Bought a beautiful electric bass today, used. Got it home and plugged it in and no sound. Took it to the music store, and the store employee verified that the bass does not work. Will get an estimate by next Tuesday.

Don't have to do lesson plans this week because of how the rotation falls.

Apparently Lin-Manuel Miranda's latest project is a full cast concept album based on the cult movie "The Warriors". Maybe it will turn into a play?
