It turns out I’ve already subscribed 😇
Damn, the cover art is gorgeous once again. Gonna preorder!
The truck with the supply of concrete that buildings use to level up also reached its destination, then looked for the next viable target (new “ground trace”) and drove there without leaving the map first. It was carrying 20ish tons of concrete and was dropping 2 tons at each house in need.
In CS2, I followed a car that couldn’t find parking at its destination. It U-turned and retraced its last leg of the journey multiple times, looking for parking. IDK if you’d call it dynamic but they do come up with new routes while _within_ the same network
Thank you 🙇♂️ I'm happy with the result. This opens the door for many other textures too!
Isometric slabs of stone bricks, combined in different ways. When next to each other, some lines disappear (they overlap other meshes). The result is seamless tiling on the horizontal plane
While messing around, I found a nifty way to seamlessly tile some slabs I drew. I simply scaled up the 3D model (a box, really) and flipped the normals. The texture is slightly larger than the base geometry, so it works. #gamedev #isometric #handdrawn
I used to use iwantmyname dot com to search and register domain names. Shortly after they got acquired by a bigger company, they started force feeding me AI “suggestions” that don’t match my query, at all. I don’t understand how anybody would think that’s OK. It’s domain names, ffs!
Ink drawing, steps winding through trees towards a ruined keep
ruins, roots, the usual
There’s too much horizontal padding on mobile, which makes lines way too short to be comfortable to read. I’m also not a fan of justified text but maybe with longer lines it won’t be as bad
I can imagine 2 cases. In one, you think you’re good enough/everyone else is bad enough that you inherently deserve the qualification. In the other, you optimized for the short term and end up underprepared for the job, at which point you’ll either learn it by doing or bullshit your way through it 🤷♂️
The qualification. Any effort on the way is to be avoided at all costs

Also, the nerve to even suggest that “A.I. writing is not all “slop” to you, at least if it’s not labeled.” Same logic as saying that not all scams are bad as long as you never find out. You may fool me, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t slop—no thought went into it, for god’s sake
“[Text] generated by AI, they rate is less highly. This is partly why so much AI writing goes unlabeled — the illusion of a human brain at work is a big part of the value.”
Aside from apparently giving an excuse as to why concealing AI use is actually fair, they really decided to say the quiet part out loud, uh?
Getting some Felix Colgrave vibes from this! Lovely work and can’t wait to see it in full!
Little correction, there’s 2 days left! 😉 Go check out our zine if you haven’t already! #ttrpg
Fun fact: every time I post something new I update my website a little. It's crazy to think this is how the current (read: of the last 2 years) iteration started 👇 So much has changed! bsky.app/profile/fede...
I wrote a short piece on how I narrate scars in #CairnRPG. In case you weren't interested, feel free to skip to the d6 table of curious-looking bottles 😉 #ttrpg

It’s been a while since then, but I remember drag n drop was both easy (data write on drag start, data read on drop) and difficult (drop area resize and lots of flickering). I’m not building anything drag n drop at the minute but if you think my feedback could still be useful, I might sign up. LMK
Still better than the A/B test in which I was segmented that shows you the countdown to the end of each ad as it plays instead of the total. 10 second countdown, followed by a 5 second countdown, then by a 20s one. Pure torture
Finally finished the fan animation for ROOT by @leder.games ive been working on for fun! ROOT is easily one of my favourite board games and its a dream of mine to be part of an animated series for it. Also a good excuse to learn how to usr @procreate.com dreams!
Hope you guys dig it :)
I’m in a similar position after purchasing the Valve Index a few years ago
That's charming. We'll surely keep that in mind, thanks!

Thank you so much man! Really appreciated 🙏
Yeah, UK delivery is rough 😅 I didn't include a lot of countries 'cause I didn't feel comfortable asking for 64€ of delivery (that's what you'd have to pay, in the UK 😳). It'd be cheaper if I personally flew there, wth!
Thanks again! Fingers crossed 🤞
And we are live! You can now back our #ZineMonth zine, as well as the many other projects that are part of #Zinetopia!
There is something for everybody in there, and if your thing happens to be #Cairn 2E adventures, that'd be us 😄 Back us below 👇

Aye, makes sense, as long as time zones aren’t pulling a funny one here ‘cause it’s Monday where I am 😄
Is there a deadline for this? I followed the link but am unable to produce a recording, stat
Why yes, we are. My fiancée is doing the art, I’m designing and writing the thing. It’s going to be a ~20 page adventure for Cairn 2E. It’s our first zine/crowdfunding ever, wish us luck! www.backerkit.com/call_to_acti...
Winter Landscape because I'm on a hike right now and having a blast ❄️
