Still waiting for bsky to decide that’s a good step 😎

Where did you get it? Place Pigalle? In August, they served me the best one I’ve ever had.
That’s a serious Belgian. My favorite. Started cooking them over a wood stove when I worked at a gold dredging camp in Alaska in my 20’s. Hooked on them ever since.
Finally meeting MIT professor Ramesh Raskar in person at the #NANDA “Internet of AI Agents” event in SF. This is a very exciting vision for AI agents that fits perfectly with the #FirstPersonProject. We need to start now if we are going to harness #AIagents to work for people and not vice versa.
At the Global Digital Collaboration event in Geneva, the first session is on the #EUDI #digitalwallet initiative. Without question, this is the project that has brought open standard digital wallets into the mainstream. Congrats to the EU for their leadership on this #digitaltrust infrastructure.
At the start of the first Global Digital Collaboration conference in Geneva. It’s the largest event in the #decentralized #digital #identity and #trust infrastructure space. Many exciting possibilities for the #FirstPersonProject to explore in the next two days.
Frank, there's very active work in the decentralized identity community on building decentralized trust fabrics. Every point you bring up is relevant. It would be ideal to see Bluesky adopt decentralized trust registry standards such as the Trust Over IP (ToIP) Trust Registry Query Protocol.
#Decentralized #identifier (DID) expert Markus Sabadello holds an Internet #Identity Workshop session on DID SCID - a new DID method for all types of self-certifying identifiers. This is what #cryptography needs to break fully into the mainstream.
The woman’s wisdom end of the #DIF dinner hosted by @kimdhamilton.bsky.social the night before #IIW 40 (yes, the 20th anniversary of the twice-yearly event). Super excited about tomorrow.
Quite the opening for DICE: Key State Capital released the Web of Trust Map at weboftrust.org. Don’t miss this. Best visualization of the #decentralizedidentity space ever. True wizardry!
There are no words for this. Sanctioning political violence against your own democracy is a moral outrage. What does this say to the Capital police officers that lost their lives or their livelihoods on #January6? What does this say about us to the world? www.nytimes.com/live/2025/01...
It is amazing to watch how fast BlueSky is growing now. Let’s hope it can stay healthy!! Of course, Kim, we can help that…
The opening circle of IIW —300+ people
The opening circle of the 39th #InternetIdentityWorkshop at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA. At twice a year, it means we’re going on 20 years. But this one is the largest ever. I think we’re finally in sight of the tipping point in #digitaltrust.
I'll be attending the @linuxfoundation.org #Decentralized #Trust Member Summit to talk #TrustoverIP, both the tech and governance sides of the #ToIPstack. See you there. cvent.me/858zrv?sms=7...
One of the anchor panels on the second day of the #BhutanInnovationForum is led by DHI CTO Jacques von Benecke and features Secretary Jigme Tenzing, both of whom were instrumental in the groundbreaking #SSI based Bhutan #NationalDigitalIdentity infrastructure.
Taxiing in the Delhi airport on my flight to the #BhutanInnovationForum, I spotted this slogan written on a portable plane stairway outside an #IndiGo flight: “Escaping patriarchy at 30,000 feet”. WOW! Go girl!!!
We weren't joking about not playing favorites... now I can post video too!
Here's a video of crown shyness — when tree branches don't overlap or touch!
A very happy birthday, Charlie.
After 8 mos working with the Government of Bhutan in 2022 to help draft their National Digital Identity Act based on #SSI ( #self-sovereign-identity ), I finally have the chance to visit in person Oct 1-3 at the Bhutan Innovation Forum. A dream trip! www.bhutan-innovation-forum.org/gVaxoo?refid...
Makes me nostalgic for the summer holiday we spent there on that very beach. Love it!
One of my favorite unsung parks. Staying in the cabins there is like going back to the 1800s.
André, you are too kind. I had heard so much about DWeb Camp that my expectations were very high—but the real experience of four days of mind-blowing sessions and mind-bending conversations was beyond belief. And I am here on BlueSky simply because the talks by @jay.bsky.team were so compelling.
