Big mixed feelings on the movie, just like the first. Plot is basically non-existent, but the fan service was fun. The "jingling keys" commentary is unfortunately very on-the-money. The pacing felt absolutely breakneck, with not a single conversation lasting more than 7-8 exchanges. Shallow.
There's a particular videogame franchise that's very important to me; anybody who has a similar love for it needs to keep their eyes peeled during the first Gateway Galaxy scene in the Mario Galaxy Movie ๐ค
finally found the time to mess around with #picocad2
The grimdark cyberpunk future we all live in is the setting for a breakneck fast death race across countless sky roads, riding to the heavy metal soundtrack with songs such as "Fall Down to the Scream", "The Long Distance of Murder" and "All Need Is 30 Deaths" (taken from the official F-Zero X Original Soundtrack). The countdown to the race start begins, with a floating counter and two side displays showing a cyber punk with a purple cyber-helmet covering most of his face with goggles and cyber-doodads, looking like the Cyborg Elite Guard from the box art of the original System Shock.
The Twin Noritta dual seat racer doing a drifting left through a group of racers, going at a measly 718 km/h, holding for dear life as the setting sun basks the city of the future in a golden warm glow, letting you know that even if you crash and burn, the corporations will live on, forever.
A pink colored racecraft called the Little Wyvern is the vehicle of one curiously human pilot James McCloud, looking suspiciously like a parallel universe human version of Fox McCloud's father from StarFox, about to roll down a steep hill while toing through a gate of two giant billboards looking like twirly spinning tops.
An up-close back view of the red Queen Meteor, a sleek racing machine with the number 21 as it's doing its victory run through the Rainbow Road with the yellow-orange-purple gradient word FINISH written on the bottom of the screen.

We'll get there once I actually finish and start marketing the game! Hahaha
"Aeros Prime: Parallel Slipstream" is the third track of the new Grand Prix that I just released earlier today! It's the dedicated slipstream track of the game, and it's the one track I can confidently say is 99% Aero GPX DNA if you play it right. Very happy with it!
Set it up by hyper sliding into a turn to get your angle, then releasing the currently held trigger and pressing the other strafe trigger shortly after. I recommend practicing it on Two Dimensions (1) to get the hang of it! It makes even the hairpins in the game pretty trivial at high speeds!
Have you messed around with Tight Turning directly out of a hyper slide/releasing your hyper slide in order to cut tight corners? It can really make you able to take some insane turns at crazy speeds!
That's the hope eventually! Trust me, I want to do it as much as people want it! ๐
Awesome run! You drifts through the long turn were super clean, and I love how you used the spin attack to reliably make the turn after the long slipstream section! Nice!!!
Hell yeah. Let me know what you think! ๐ค
Only a beginner and absolutely DESTROYING other pilots with spin and slam attacks! You're a natural!
Thank you so much for supporting and playing the game; it means a lot! ๐ค
Aero GPX is still 15% off for Steam's Racing Games festival, by the way!

New track just dropped into Aero GPX! I wanted to make a sequel to a previous track in the lineup, and it just so happens that I could make the name kinda funny while I was at it.
Introducing "Two Dimensions 2!" You can play it for 15% off for a limited time on Steam!
My heart belongs in Slant City.

Aero GPX is participating in Steam's Racing Games festival at a 15% off discount! That's $16.99 for 21 tracks (and counting), one of which I just released today! "Thuurmos: Ardent Narrows" is a slim line dangerously good time!
Here's a YouTube short that is significantly better quality:

Can't see a single thing in the above pixel soup, unfortunately. You could see a lot better if you played the game on a variety of computer hardware, or even a Steam Deck which Aero GPX is verified for!
