Yes, there are treatments like Neupulse which uses electrical pulses to reduce ticcing and John used this and it helped him massively. Unfortunately people with heart conditions are advised not to use it... And John had a heart attack in 2024. You would likely benefit from educating yourself.
Now I have a machine gun ho-ho-ho 😀
I've came to the same conclusion over last few years. The detail and coordination required for each play on both sides of the ball is unmatched IMO. It's like 4D moving chess but with a load of guys that weigh over 20 stones.
I can't wait to hear @csimmsqb.bsky.social views on the Buccs 4th down decisions today.
Unless I'm getting my sums wrong that's an annual return of somewhere between 5.5-6%. In a 25 year span where interest rates were rock bottom for a sizable chunk of the period.
FTSE All-Share Total Return at end of 2000 was c.3,000. Today it's over 12,000. Yeah, equities outside of the US have been really crap since.
That was great.
Move even.
While there's obviously nuances on a company to company basis (Flutter weakness lately also due to US results/prediction markets), the mouth wasn't counterintuitive. The earnings impact was broadly in-line with where analysts had expected even if mix maybe a bit different.
It's not rocket science, investors didn't just wake up yesterday and go 'shit, they're putting up taxes on the bookies'. Both are down c. 30% from summer highs reached prior to all the headlines about the changes.
On the Chiefs need to reinvigorate themselves, should they be looking at changing OC? Daboll would probably be viewed as upgrade on Nagy no?
Why is this marked as intolerance? Really @bsky.app ?
In an ironic twist, this thread is probably pretentious enough to inspire at least 4 or 5 terrible shows at next year's Fringe.
They could just not have invited her back. But to imply that Kate Forbes very presence was somehow detrimental to the "safety and wellbeing of the artists and performers we work with" is lunacy and the sort of thing that gives those that love to bang on about 'cancel culture' another bone to chew on
Rent controls, one of the few things that pretty much all economists agree on (i.e. they don't work) and where there is tonnes of evidence of them not working. So so stupid. Build more houses!
Does Brexit itself have any outcome on the 2016 US presidential election? Trump used it during 1st campaign as example of 'taking your country back'. Obvs wouldn't have had a massive impact, but in an election that was a decided by small margins across a few key states...
Francis (walking the) Poulenc?
Exactly. You can add almost any of the main characters in Parks and Rec, Schitts Creek etc too.
Excellent
Today might be the day Donald Trump slaps tariffs on UK goods — because he thinks VAT is a tariff. Yes, he's wrong. But the reason *why* he's wrong is fun.
So here's a 🧵 on the nerdy detail of VAT: via Jaffa Cakes and an economic theorem from 1936.

Tbf as a Scotland fan, I can understand the view on the reaction, but how they can't see it's a red irregardless is fucking baffling.
I’ve downloaded this butterfly thing just so I can keep up with @showerabsolute.bsky.social’s fabulous trousers and terrible takes on chocolate.
So, how does it work? What’s the character limit? Where are all the Nazis?
New from me - is it possible we are actually at peak populism? This post is an exercise in working through a scenario - I may very well be wrong. But also, outside of America, I think something is shifting. Because of America. 1/n

Yup. He's great.
still find it hard to compute that a swathe of western politicians and political commentators are making public proclamations that almost word for word match passages in anders breivik's manifesto. but, u know, here we are.
A normal person would write that and think, "you know, I actually have no idea if there is a train line to Silicon Valley... best have a quick search online to make sure I don't look like a fool".
Not Simon.
@samcoatessky.bsky.social was expressing his astonishment yesterday on Sky News that the PM had singled out one judicial review applicant to blame for the legal challenges bedevilling infrastructure projects.
Let’s fix that 😈
Here’s a story that starts with a man shut in his cellar.
Here’s a short story about who wins and loses from the status quo of our inheritance tax rules - and about, what you might politely call ‘sub-optimal’ journalism🧵
