Ive not done edward (yet!) And plan to do him and the rest of the Brendam branch, as well as renew some of my earlier attempts of locos like Daisy and Thomas!

I've a new found respect for all the skarloey modellers out there battling with red paint. James is painted Revell italian/racing? Red - a bit of a pain to apply from an airbrush! I'm glad the standard gauge only had one red loco!

Happy to have the express 3 completed at last!

James is incredibly light, and is packed with lead to bring him up to 158g (which will be more when his new white metal crew arrive)
He manages about 14 loaded coal wagons on radius 3/4 track.

The power is a high level kits gearbox and motor, so that I can tuck the motor away into the firebox.
As James is kit built, it means that he doesn't like set track curves, but its a compromise I'm willing to make some I don't have a lump of metal in the boiler like RTR options

James is made from a sparkshot @/KnucklesSCC class 29 body kit.

The chassis is a comet 4f, cut down so the body isn't high on the track.
The 4f is about 1mm scale wheel spacing out but I can live with that. As you can see with the L&Y 28, it sits on the track at the same height

A Jimbo in time for Crimbo!

A project I've been doing for a while on and off (probably about a year and a half!)

Thread below, won't take up too much of your time. Don't post on here much anymore but I'll give it a go!
