Cops are such fucking cowards. Anything more than beating up innocent protestors from behind a wall of military hardware and they shit their pants & freeze.

Yes. All the more reason they should obey laws that apply to others.

Do Palantir executives know that WE KNOW there are people behind this computer program they would be happy to see take over the world? And we know who they are? They really think we're stupid, don't they?

A Genocide Scholar Asks “What Went Wrong” in Israel The Israeli historian Omer Bartov argues in his new book that a “state ideology” of Zionism has led to what he calls genocide in Gaza.

If you have people in your life who acknowledge the horror of what Israel has done to Palestinians but argue over the term genocide or say "what about," & you want to persuade them, or help them think more humanly, some might be able to actually hear this. www.newyorker.com/culture/the-...

I worked for 20 years for a corporation that brought in a nurse every autumn to give employees flu shots. You had to have a doctor's excuse in writing to opt out. When I left that company, I didn't get a flu shot that year I got the flu by the end of Dec. Spent NYE in bed sick as I'd ever been.

My grandmother's first husband & a daughter died in the 1918 flu epidemic. She remarried a soldier who had returned safely from the war. But it turns out, he had PTSD. He kicked her 2 teenaged sons by husband #1 out of the house & later was abusive to the children he fathered w/ her. Some life, huh?

People like Pete Hegseth believe that China manufactures the flu as a weapon.

He then tells China, potentially our biggest military enemy, that he is ensuring that US troops *will* be made vulnerable to the flu.

When you're too stupid to reconcile your conspiracy theories.

She raised concerns about her company's contracts with ICE. Then she lost her job Billie Little had worked for Thomson Reuters for about two decades. She was fired after questioning whether federal immigration agents unlawfully used their products.

“Little, who worked in legal publishing, was part of a committee of employees that sent a letter to company management in February flagging that ICE could be using Thomson Reuters products unlawfully”

Amazing the things that can happen when a President is not constrained by laws or even the remotest understanding of the Constitution.

This sounded incredibly fishy the first time I read about it. If they were CIA, it makes sense.

In Arizona, we found out that the Republican in charge of vouchers OK'd extra payments for things that voucher-holders asked to be reimbursed for that are disallowed. Payments for toys, travel, pianos, sports equip, etc. To the tune of $10 MILLION last year alone. One family had a kitchen remodeled.

A real senator would hammer away at an administration that caused 130,000 of their constituents to lose healthcare because they couldn’t afford it. But you hear more from Fetterman and McCormick about affordable bulldozers for Israel than about affordable healthcare for Pennsylvania. Pathetic.

I had an uncle who joined the Army on graduating high school in the early 1950s. He wasn't there for 2 yrs when he was diagnosed w/ schizophrenia. He was discharged but VA got him on SS disability. He never held another normal job & was treated at the VA in Pittsburgh to his death 50+ yrs. later.

Joe DiGenova, whose wife once solicited payments from foreigners to lie about Joe Biden in 2019, just got sworn in to investigate things those things he lied about in the past.

Over the weekend I laid out why this is so problematic.
