Okay, I'll say it: I want everyone (who can) to bike.

Not everywhere, not all the time. But I want everyone to have the experiencing of biking, because I think it will make them happier, healthier, more empathetic and socially-engaged people.

I believe bicycles serve and cars harm the common good.

So, hypothetically, society could be crumbling around our ears and people would still be able to point and say, "Line go up" and insist that everything is hunky dory. There's no chance that could bite us in the collective ass over the long run, is there?
