Off to see the Super Mario movie shortly. I had a game gear growing up, never really played any of the Mario games and I still have a headache... oh the things we do for our children :-) if I *was* going to deep dive into the Mario world - where should I start?

Our local costco has unleaded fuel for 140p. The queue was back 3 roundabouts and about 30 mins. The sneaky back way queue was still 11 mins. Not smug that I filled up last week as I was still stuck in it just for a food stock up. But yeah...
Today was the first day in about 6 months (ok, 5 days) when I wasn't dying of the worst headache ever. So, as its easter holidays and I have 2 hungry beings in the house, I went to Costco at the weekend. Holy mother of God and the donkey she rode in on So Many People. ... I bought snacks.
Wait, I can't loll about in my pj's all day, the offspring have a haircut at noon. Eldest doesnt mind but would prefer to stay at home in their pjs, youngest really doesnt like haircuts so will need to be negotiated with. I'm on day 3 of an almost migraine so I'm afraid donuts bribery will be used
Today I need to be productive, or i could play dreamlight valley... but the offspring need sustenance so a supply run is required but... they could just eat crisps and oranges, that sounds ballanced right...

I don't think we're in the same industry but once I realised my purpose was to make money for the owner to buy boats life became less stressful...
We also got the duck, badge and bag - the ducks face is just perfect :-)

Those singers were awesome, amazing space to work in too. I got a bit emotional, all the old technology next to the embodymemt of the dream of reaching the stars... forgot just how lovely the trek fandom can be!

It was a great evening! And such a great museum. We didnt see @elittlechild.bsky.social - if we had, we may have had to fan girl on the 9 year olds behalf who is quite the doctor who ups and downs fan!
