The Lions O organically living in the same world as the Rams is comically ironic for the Bills

Condensed formations, the use of motion, the ability to create displacement, the WRs who are threats to block & catch passes, all eerily similar

Plus they have arguably the best OL & a diverse run game

To drill home the under center nature of the Lions offense & especially their run game:

68% of Jahmyr Gibbs’ runs have come from under center - 9th highest for RBs

79.4% of David Montgomery’s runs have come from under center - 2nd highest for RBs

Almost all the pregame talk is about the Lions playing a lot of man coverage—and they do, compared to the league.

But it proves my point: the NFL is a zone league. Even the Lions play zone ~60% of the time, the lowest in the NFL.

The game is all about spacing. Controlling and making team vacate it
