A "very small indie IT company" that is funded by government of a large country had decided to charge users for being able to use IMAP, SMTP and POP3. Because they lose revenue from ads. One of us is doing an annual checkup of accounts to migrate to personal Vivaldi Mail account. Today they discovered they can move e-mail between accounts right within Vivaldi Mail's user interface in Vivaldi itself!
On background, there is a Steam library window filtered to show only games that have "Luxor" in their name. The foreground window is "Luxor 1.0.5.34 S" (the original Luxor game developed by MumboJumbo LLC in 2005) at startup screen waiting for the player to click the "Click here to play" button. This window also conceals the Windows Command Prompt showing the operating system version the game runs on, which is Microsoft Windows 10.0.26200.7462, which represents Windows 11 25H2 with December 2025 security updates.
With help of @deathknight.bsky.social and @hw12.dev the problem of running Luxor, Luxor: Amun Rising and Luxor 2 from Steam is now gone after 13 years!
Hayden did the most difficult part—a new wrapper that is compatible with Windows 8 and onwards; Steam DRM remains intact!

We chose to continue servicing our forums board. The new lifecycle policy—effective December 7th, 2025—determines activity windows and our responsibility for upkeeping them.
No rocket science there!
We were directly asked if it is still reasonable to maintain our own forums board, EI Forums, due to low guest-to-users conversion and severe search engine indexing issues. The question was followed by suggestion to archive it and freeze in "read only" state.
We will tell you the answer in a week.
Cloudflare Dashboard login prompt with blank email and password fields. The "Let us know you're human" area was expected to show Cloudflare Turnstile but it failed to load. The page load failure notification from Vivaldi browser is covered by partially visible "While you wait, try the most powerful in-" text, which is an offer to play Vivaldia game, a game by Vivaldi browser developers that is accessible both on Speed Dial and on error pages in some conditions. There is no way to launch the game inside the Turnstile widget area as the buttons are outside visible area.
Ouch.
Vivaldi 7.7 offers some interesting interactions in the @cloudflare.social's Turnstile `iframe` but there's no way to click there. Bug report time for @vivaldi.com, we guess?

Not long ago, we took a deep dive into some bugs in the 86Box v5.0 emulator and explored a few ways to fix them. But we saved the best for last: one click is all it takes to break everything! No worries, though — @86box.net has already fixed it :)

It has been one month since #SteelHunters permanent shutdown. While most people consider it was a live service, we think it wasn't. Service can be considered "live" only after it passes the EAP phase and not any second earlier.
