We're planning on giving some accessability feedback and I'm thinking of offering up some writing and art for next years booklets like "tips for furries for making an accessible con" like leaving enough space, not standing in front of the accessible entrance door, remembering to help out etc etc

A lot of the time it was really hard navigating the crowds. A lot of the paths to get places are already fairly narrow and people had a habit of crowding them so we had to shout through the crowd to make space for a wheelchair coming through. Most people were nice about moving & helping with doors.

Was there with my partner in a wheelchair, me using stick/walker and 2 other stick users. Staff were generally v helpful. We got priority access in queues for all events like drums n Roses, the bot battle, the dealers den etc. The fursuit lounge was a NIGHTMARE. Suiting with mobility aids was hard.

If you're also just checking out the village you may spot me flat on the ground outside still recovering from dead dog 😂

I see my CRS tomorrow for my next consultation. I had two surgeries at the end of 2024 and I'm hoping the problem will be solved with only one more surgery this year.

Also hoping I can process the anger that if my first GP had listened to me, I wouldn't have needed any surgery at all.
