For a while in college, I had a dealer that lived in my dorm AND took checks. But yeah, lots of pooling money, driving to bigger cities, and having odd encounters with sketchy dudes in their gross living rooms all for weed that nowadays would be immediately thrown away.

I love this! Also, I will be withholding this information from my mermaid obsessed 5 year old.
Has anyone taken a kid to a First Ave Rock and Roll Playhouse? Did you/your kid like it? How long was the show? Was it worth the cost?
My tip would be, if you two aren’t particularly good, are orange balls. They are slower and easier to use. My five year old plays tennis and she uses the even slower red balls. tennisexpress.com/products/gam...
What’s nice about IKEA couches is you can get third party covers. With two dogs, a cat and a kid, our cover quickly became pretty gross, but the actual couch was in good shape. New cover was perfect. Will probably get a third cover once the dogs die (they are old).
I’ve learned they also get mad if you don’t tailgate the car in front of you at a dangerous distance. So it’s not only that you and the other cars aren’t going fast enough, you also aren’t driving dangerously enough.
The only situation where I think it might not be absolutely terrible is where my daughter goes. Lots of reasons why it is better than other places, but ultimately its a government job with a union and comes with lots of protections and a pension.
I’m a decade plus into complaints of joint pain. I can’t tolerate most oral pain killers. For the first time ever a doctor suggested lidocaine patches today. First one is working great and I’m so mad no one has ever mentioned them before.
Less than two years in jail, with time served, for someone who killed someone due to their drunk driving. Want to kill someone with nearly no repercussions? Use a car. (gift link) www.startribune.com/man-whose-ba...
Got my kid’s application in for next year’s afterschool care. Hopefully this is the last high stakes sign up until at least September.
How I got a thumbs up instead of an “I” is beyond me.
First class of Community Ed Watercolor 101 for me tonight. I’m definitely 👍 n the bottom third of age and I’m almost 50
me please!
My dermatologist absolutely keeps appointments available that the normal person can't see for things like this. Usually they come in through a primary care physician, so that could be another route to a quicker appointment.
That sucks. I hope the repair is possible and not too expensive.
Lots of Ransomware hitting school districts/counties/cities stories lately. From what I've heard, its often the same group. I'd love to see money (and possibly employees) from the State helping these smaller governments in improving their cybersecurity measures. www.startribune.com/spring-lake-...
It does have exceptionally bad parking because the auto mechanic uses tons of the available street parking for the cars be is working on. Just free storage for his business. More bad car culture stuff.
Every time I get my hair done she’s like what are you doing later today? And it’s always- I’m biking to St Paul or I’m going swimming with my kid or I’m going hiking. Please just throw it in a braid
It will stay warmer in the garage. It will be fine.
I think my husband is going to go this week! Hopefully the price holds.
They can! Especially when you bring them inside and they heat up quickly.
We are declaring it real spring and are now keeping the bowling balls and the ebike batteries out in the garage.
I want to be this French woman and have her life.
I finished my first paint by numbers. I learned a lot to make the next one better.
Two of the dumb problems were people on vacation and one of those people was me, so there is that...
I've been a designated User Acceptance Tester on a new app we made. UAT is not my normal job, but it makes sense. Anyways, I've been trying to get through my scenarios for WEEKS and just keep running into dumb problems and I have to stop. I was not meant to ever finish this task I fear.
I had a super hard time finding jelly beans with black ones in the mix. There is a black only bag now, which seems sort of segregationist. Anyway, I love all licorice, even the salty stuff.
This is the takeaway from Cabaret too that was at the Guthrie earlier this season. Minnesota arts organizations KNOW what's up. (Except that MN Orchestra which is doing three Harry Potter concerts for some reason.)
I’m not totally sure. Same bad actors as the St Paul incident. We took significant steps to block traffic from there to protect ourselves, but that could be overkill.
