Edward Warchocki’s time has come.
“Watch the moment a humanoid robot named Edward Warchocki chased a herd of wild boars in Warsaw into the forest, shouting "go away" in Polish while running. It then waved goodbye as the animals fled into the forest.”

It was a rhetorical question, but he went there. More MAGA than PHON.
It turns out that that the 3 charging brands I most commonly use, on the less than 5% of times I ever charge my car away from home, all have a tap-and-go NFI card option, or autopay. Not fiddly, and not time consuming. The author is just an incurious novice.
How much frustrating naivety can ABC package up into one story? Do no ABC editors drive EVs?
Victoria cops a lot of criticism, but our Rental Minimum Standards laws would prevent this ludicrous situation.
The benefit of oil prices remaining high is that it encourages substitution, leading to a reduced reliance on oil & its derivatives.
The disadvantage is that exploration increases as it makes some previously uneconomic oil tenements economic, further entrenching oil dependence.
The “Australian Values” statement is defined. The real question is: why is it only applied to people seeking citizenship when so many existing citizens clearly don’t demonstrate the values?

Don’t dismiss the heightened risk of mistake, oversight or equipment failure caused by recently increased production demand.
You do realise ‘everyone gets sick’ is the strongest possible argument for universal healthcare, don’t you?
The Town Hall to Flinders St link is a huge disappointment. Especially if you’ve had the opportunity to compare how incredible the link is between Sydney’s Metro and Central Station.
Yup. Maybe it just needed me to go away for 4 days, and was happy when I came back.
Of course, after trying everything I could think of last week, and failing, today the problematic iOS app just starts working again. No iOS updates or app updates between then and now. No firmware or other updates on any of my home network devices. 🤷♂️
Unfortunately not
Holidays bring out the inexperienced, unaware and just plain selfish when it comes to EV charging etiquette.
1hr on the only available public charger in Daylesford-Hepburn, 96% charge. A queue of cars waiting. FFS.
Free public transport in Victoria has been pitched as a state government “cost of living” response to sustained fuel price increases. But it could also be viewed as a pre-emptive response to a month of high impact rail disruptions due to planned works and maintenance. Discuss.
Fresh local fish was always hard to find in WA. Commercial fishers all seemed to snap freeze their catch and ship it to international and interstate markets.
And this from the authority responsible; basically, we knew it should have been done, but we didn’t do it. Appalling shirk.
They didn’t do enough forest raking?
Ballarat Station bus interchange is right there, just outside that fence. But the project to provide a new accessible bridge to transfer between platforms didn’t provide an entry. Instead, people have to walk the full length of the platform, exit through the north gate, then walk all the way back. 🤦♂️
Our ABC out there stanning cop killers
I love gadgets and apps, but today I am completely stumped by an iOS app that works perfectly on mobile data, but refuses to work on my home wifi network, even though it worked fine last month. Reset, reinstalled, recalibrated everything I could find, with no success. Tech, huh, what is it good for?
Large balconies adjacent to bedrooms and small balconies adjacent to living areas in the central apartments seems like an odd choice.
Free public transport for the month of April in VIC actually starts today.
Ruh-roh Sydney…
Can anyone report the volumes of petrol & diesel purchased in a normal ‘pre war’ week, and compare it to the amounts purchased since the conflict began? You’d think this would be the easiest way to show if there’s excess demand (panic buying) or insufficient supply.
WITCH 🤦♂️
Despite alternatives existing, our country’s production, income and livelihoods are inextricably linked to fossil fuel dependence, as we are about to discover through an economic shock.
Did the 70s oil shock bring about the end of the fossil fuel era? The Iraq war? They definitely changed the course of international fossil fuel reliance, but neither ended it. This era will be the same.
