Thanks! I would have picked figure 1 :)

Nice interview, but next time could you have the real Weiwei rather than this Ai version?

4 weeks ago 0 0 0 0

We've not thought about that no. Are you thinking of how it would e.g. interact with the RF pulses? We'll have a think thanks!
Note: this is a tool for forward simulation not inference (although you could use it for inference with e.g. simulation based inference).

The paper also details some of the many gotchas in doing these types of simulations. We hope you like it!

We hope this tool can help the field of MR microstructure modelling by enabling fully multimodal inference.

The code is open source, with documentation and tutorials. It has been masterminded and created by the ridiculously talended Michiel Cottaar.

We introduce MCMRSimulator. You can simulate many aspects of tissue (restriction, permeability, relaxation, susceptibility, magnetisation transfer). Importantly, you can generate signals for arbitrary MR sequences, giving you different views of the same tissue.

When we acquire multimodal MRI data, they give us complementary views on the same tissue. How can we combine this rich information to improve the specificity of tissue modelling in MRI?

Calling out to other #DataLad users: At @oxcin.bsky.social we're thinking of replacing an XNAT instance that transfers data from our scanner and archives data with a service built on top of DataLad. Any thoughts or experiences people can share?

Yes it's a very clever idea!

Of course joking, sorry I should have added a smiley!

I love what you/eLife is doing to innovate with online content. Are people adopting it? I remember you introduced embedded interactive figures but are authors using that?

Very excited about this! I was waiting until we finished the online practicals and road-tested them at a workshop before posting here. If you're not sure what to read over xmas... :)

Maybe it was a mistake and I shouldn't have changed the eLife summary, but isn't it lovely that this all out in the open?
PS: @behrenstimb.bsky.social I don't find your laptop at the restaurant excuse to be very "convincing".

10 months ago 3 0 1 0

The strength of evidence was upgraded after the author sent a rebuttal. I am not sure if that rebuttal is included online? I will admit it was me who caved here. I gave the authors the benefit of a doubt. I would have liked to see code to be really convinced, but authors claim it's patent protected.
