I think I just finished chapter 1 of my book.

I suffered creatively for years after starting my PhD program. I couldn’t put together a sonnet without it being a chore. I am so happy that my creativity has returned since I started writing my book. Writing about hip-hop makes me whole. I am in love with the process.
