Was there, can confirm.
OK now I’d love to hear yours! @hosewood.bsky.social @rystorm.bsky.social and others whatcha got?
Prediction: As a nice tribute to the King of MSG, especially with his recent health issues, the boys bust out a Billy Joel cover. Anything but Piano Man will do.
Wish 3: Wild sit-in. Personal dream would be Michael McDonald and/or Christopher Cross on Ride Like the Wind. Something that level of amazing.
Wish 2: Feel It Now> Can’t Get You Out Of My Head dance party. Full disco funk Peter showcase w/digital sauce*
Shake the joint and drench it in sweat.

It’s only about 2 weeks until @goose-band.bsky.social headlines MSG! Here are my 3 wishes and a prediction.
Wish 1: A massive Drive w/full on Rick rock-god solo transition to jam. I’m talking Page in Whole Lotta Love. I’m talking Slash in front of the chapel. Burn it down then groove it out.
I’m grateful to have spent some time talking with the Daily Gazette for this one. Holy wild times.

We’re blessed to have this demon beast of a human to watch!
It’s the holidays, you have to take hydration and scurvy prevention seriously.
It’s go time for the real Thanksgiving MVPs: The AM adult beverage twin towers.
Gonna be a lot more Goose fans after the solo Rick just ripped at MSG! #goose #goosetheband
For the song, Slow. For the jam, So. That’s where I land.

I’m sure it has nothing to do with the fact that while driving him somewhere I was arguing (to myself) about how really this sounded more like a continuation of the “Loose Ends” part in the >
I have just been informed by my 14 y/o that I am the “Number one Goose glazer,” so there’s that. 🤷🏻♂️ #goosetheband
Great craftsman, great human. Check it out!
Nice!
Why, besides the fact that I think they’d absolutely crush them:
1. Two guitar Goose, crazy interplay.
2. Trevor
3. Cotter sings
Ok, 3 dream @goose-band.bsky.social covers:
1. “Marquee Moon”- Television
2. “Us vs. Them”- LCD Soundsystem
3. “Numb”- U2
Boom!
Can’t ignore the context of “public health” being a historical bad actor like many others, understandable distrust in government, politics, etc. But point is that we have to reckon with it and not lose sight of how it derails the work. Can’t be an afterthought.
IMO this is why harm reductionists are uniquely equipped. The ability to connect one-on-one with radical love/honesty and to focus on relationships as a priority above all works at the micro level. Hard to do on a large scale, but we know what works and can build upon it.
It’s a crucial lesson we must take from COVID. Here we are, talking about fluoride and vaccines-often from a defensive position all while new threats emerge. At the same time, we need to acknowledge limitations and past failings to build trust.
Recently I’ve given a few talks about “Public Health 4.0” and how preparedness for the next inevitable threats has to include a plan to proactively address misinformation.
Happy to share my few invite codes with any harm reduction, drug policy, public health, sex work, social justice, etc folks who aren’t on here yet. HMU if you know someone who needs one.
If you're enjoying Bluesky and you don't want it to turn into the cesspool of hate that Twitter did, you best speak up now. Cut that 'I don't know what to say' shit out and amplify Black and queer voices, because the BS team ain't listening to us.
Let's tag in harm reductionist so we can find one another. I'll get us started: @myharmreduction.bsky.social @ryanmarino.bsky.social @clairezagorski.bsky.social @tsk.bsky.social @pharmakonology.bsky.social @hilaryagro.bsky.social @jencarroll.bsky.social @nurseranger.bsky.social @itsror9.bsky.social
