Erin, I appreciate the carefulness of the researchers and the study -- how participant questions matter, etc.-- but ultimately the story is about prescription. Most of us (yes, include me) use the chatbots for information purposes -- understanding complex medical reports, pathologies etc.

Many writers have called attention to Trump's political spectacles. My op ed today notes that Trump produces political shocks rather than spectacles. Shocks are not good for sustaining authoritarianism.
