A Strong Start: The Impact of Full-Day Kindergarten for Saskatchewan Kids A study out of the University of Toronto shows Saskatchewan students who participated in full-time kindergarten had significantly stronger literacy skills compared to those who didn't. Zeba Ahmad, CEO, Saskatoon Public Schools Foundation and Wayne Brownlee, philanthropist, former Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Nutrien/PotashCorp, are trying to make this program a reality for even more children here in the province. They join the show to share why the program matters and what it could mean for the future of education.

We're proud of Elizabeth Dhuey - a project about the importance of full day kindergarten she worked on for the Saskatoon Public Schools Foundation was recently highlighted on The Evan Bray Show! Listen here: iono.fm/e/1663266
