Learning new potentially deep and complex tools like generic 3D software, is usually hard and takes lot of effort. I have 8 (or so) years of Blender experience, I bet if I tried to learn and use Maya I'd feel really miserable at start and miss how things worked in Blender 😀

If there's something positive to take away from AAA game prices feeling pressure to rise prices and eventually going 80-100€ (how much of that is just greed vs true necessity, I remain to be convinced) ... Indie games market share and audience will surely just keep growing thanks to it.

Hello! Congratulations on 5k!

I make surrealistic, expressionistic 3D sculpts. Some more, some less dark. Mainly using Blender nowadays for whole process - but many of my older pieces are sculpted in zbrush.

Wait, games for switch 2 will be 80-90€ 😬 ?

Yeah, Metroid Prime 4 was already enough reason (for me) to buy switch 2 :D

Also new donkey kong looked interesting. Probably gonna get elden ring tarnished edition, especially if it gets shadow of the erdtree dlc as part of it (which I think is very likely).
